ACC Requests
Architecture Standards
To preserve the architectural and aesthetic appearance of Rocklane Ridge, homeowners must seek and receive approval from the Rocklane Ridge HOA's Architectural Control Committee prior to the start of any work that would affect the exterior appearance of any lot or home. For specific restrictions and requirements please refer to the Rocklane Ridge Covenants and Restrictions for Rocklane Ridge before submitting your ACC request.
Scheduling Your Project
The ACC review process can take up to thirty (30) days after submission of a complete request packet, including plans, proposals, specifications, drawings, etc. Incomplete requests are not considered under review until any missing information is provided. The Architectural Review Committee (currently the Board of Directors) will make every effort to render timely decisions, but no guarantees can be made. When scheduling your project, be sure to allow adequate time for the review process, as no part of the project should begin until after an approval notice is provided.
Approval Process
Step 1
Fill out the downloadable ACC request form then email or mail it using the contact information below.
- NOTE: All requests for approval must be accompanied by a plot plan or survey report. One of those documents was likely included with the other closing documents when you purchased the property. The appropriate document shows the location of the house in relation to the property lines as well as any easements that may exist on your lot. Mark the location of your proposed change on the plot plan, with dimensions, so the committee can confirm the project will not cross property lines or enter easements without proper authorization. Failure to provide this document could lead to a delay or denial of your proposed project. If you don't have a copy of your lot's plot plan or survey report, you may be able to get a copy from Greenwood Surveying Company 317-882-5003, for a small fee. The Johnson County Recorder's or Assessor's office may also have a copy on file. A sketch or drawing is not a suitable replacement for a plot plan or survey report.
- Submit the complete request packet to the Community Associaiont Manager:

Once a request is submitted our Association's Manager will conduct an initial review to ensure all necessary documentation has been provided and the proposed project adheres to the HOA's Covenants Conditions and Restrictions. The Property Manager may request additional information from you, or forward the request to the ACC Committee for formal review.
Step 3
When the ACC Committee receives a request from the Property Manager they will review the request and the ACC Committee will vote wether to approve or disapprove. In some cases the committee may request additional information to clarify aspects of the proposed project before a vote is taken.
Step 4
You will be notified of the ACC Committee's decision by the Community Association Manager. If you are approved you may begin your project. If your request is disapproved you will need to alter your project according to the feedback provided then submit a new ACC request.
